SAFE
​Safeguarding our service users is at the heart of our care. Keeping them safe from harm and looking out for potential things that may go wrong, and mitigating them before they get to that stage. We want to keep our service users safe and independent for as long as possible. We will regularly risk assess with service users and document these assessments in their personalised care plans, managing risks together. We have a strong lesson learnt procedure whereas a company we will look at continuous improvement. We will also work with each individual to create a medication management plan to suit the individual's needs.
EFFECTIVE
Before we do anything, we will ask for our service users' consent in all aspects of their care. This is to ensure that the individual is happy with what we have planned to do. We will build a care plan together to make sure it is completely person-centred to the individual we are supporting, so that they can make changes as and when they want or are needed.
Your care – your way. We will work with each individual to make and 100% person-centred care plan, as no two people are the same, we believe neither should the care plans.
We are always looking out for outcomes for ourselves and other companies, and as we are constantly looking to improve the services that we provide and the more we share information and get a good culture, the better our outcomes for our people we support will be.
All of our staff are trained to high standards, and we make sure that once they are trained, they feel confident working with our service users.

In simple terms, we CARE! About every aspect of the care and support you are receiving. Our staff show the utmost respect, compassion, and kindness. We will ask our service users to complete feedback forms so we can always improve.

All Providence Home Care staff know who they can contact for help and guidance. Providence home care has an open-door policy to all staff.
We use technology for our care plans, and this gives managers live feeds of what is happening and when. Our management team are easily contactable and very approachable.
Why Choose Us
We are creatures of home comforts and habits. So why should we have to go into residential care home just because we need a bit of support or assistance. If you have pets, they can stay with you and our staff can even help if necessary with walking your pooch or feeding the cat. We understand the importance of animals and the benefits they have on our emotional welfare.
Privacy and dignity
We understand that having someone in your home to help you with personal tasks can be daunting, but our staff are very professional, discreet and will respect you and treat you with dignity at all times.
Flexibility
Your care can be done your way. With the flexible care we can offer, you decide what time your care starts and what time it ends. You are in control of the support you want.
Personalised Care
You decide when your care starts, what help or support you may want or need, you can have preference in staff – we will personalise your care plan with you at the centre of it. Nothing will get changed or added unless you agree.
Independence
Providence home care wants our clients to stay as independent as possible for as long as they can or for as long as they want too. However your safety is paramount to everything else and we can work together to ensure you are safe and independent.
Emotional support
Your emotional wellbeing Is important to us and by personalizing your care plan we can factor in services like compassion, this is where you would have a care staff member to come and sit with you, play a good board game, a game of cards, go through old photo albums while you reminse about all the happy and sometimes sad memories, our staff will show compassion and will always greet you with a smile.
Cheaper then residential care
You would have to weigh up your finances however you will be paying a flat rate for an individual (or two) to come to your home. However you may need expensive adaptations to remain in your home, but this all depends on the type of care and support you require. So this is a positive and a negative and best to do your research on what works for you.
1 to 1 care and attention
When your support arrives, no one else matters, you have that one person’s full attention for the time they are with you. There is no call bells beeping in the background or another staff member distracting them, they are in your home, solely for you.
Personalised diet and nutrition
No specific menus, your home, your food, your choice. Even if it is a cheeky chippy supper on a Friday. If that’s what you require then that’s what we can do.
